Hello, I'm Harry
I am an artist-painter-photographer, writer, poet, translator, interpreter, and language teacher. I was born in Breda, Netherlands. I currently live in Switzerland.
My art encompasses painting and photography, and focuses, among other things, on creating digitally enhanced photographs, partly inspired by my own paintings.
I am largely self-taught in my approach and expertise in both photography and painting, and also received formal training at the Academy of Fine Arts in 1981, while simultaneously studying Philosophy and French and Dutch Literature at the University of Amsterdam from 1979 to 1982.
I also took oil and acrylic painting classes in Bordeaux from 1983 to 1984, while studying General Linguistics at the University of Bordeaux.
